The Mission/ Haida Gwaii

This painting is an early childhood memory of my years in Haida Gwaii.   My parents, 4 siblings and dogs would pile into the car and drive out toward Toe Hill and sometimes end up at the old abandoned mission for a picnic. The road at that time was made out of wood planks, the original logging roads.   We would play outside for hours....one day my sister and I found a hole in the road that was filled with little green frogs!
